Significant Others: AFC Edition

With the NFC Division all said and done, which AFC quarterbacks have significant others in the limelight? Let's take a look!

Backup Kansas City Chiefs: Brady Quinn
Girlfriend: Alicia Sacramone

The Story:

Ever since these two met together at a charity event during the summer of 2009, it was love at first sight. The backup quarterback and the US Olympic Gymnast have been going strong since then. He's her biggest supporter and she is his. While he may have been supplanted by Tim Tebow in Denver, Quinn has a chance to start following Matt Cassel's uninspiring performance last night in their loss to the San Diego Chargers. Sacramone, who has been battling to return to her arena as well following an ACL injury last year, retired from gymnastics earlier this year. Despite both Quinn and Sacramone getting back on track with their respective career paths, it seems these two lovebirds are in it for the long haul. Strahan approves.

Miami Dolphins: Ryan Tannehill
Wife: Lauren Tannehill

The Story:

While Ryan Tannehill is slowly making a name for himself in the NFL, his wife created the biggest buzz on the biggest day of his life: the NFL draft. Earlier this year while Tannehill was being drafted No. 8 to the Miami Dolphins, his new wife Lauren was bringing down the Twitterverse. Even though she isn't exactly connected to fame or stardom, after Mrs. Tannehill's appearance on TV, she became a trending topic on Twitter and was the subject of over 800 tweets in a span of 10 minutes. The couple was engaged just last May and wed in Mexico this January. While Tannehill is off playing in football's biggest stage, his wife works at a cardiology clinic and is an aspiring model. Here's wishing these two newlyweds true happiness.

New England Patriots: Tom Brady
Wife: Gisele Bundchen

The Story:

Oh to be sports royalty and two of the most beautiful people in the world. Life must be good for the Patriots quarterback and his supermodel wife. The couple have two children, one from Brady's previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan. But the good news doesn't end there, as the couple is expecting their third child sometime next year. In his latest interview with the magazine VMANN, the 35-year-old quarterback talks about being extremely 'affectionate' with his wife and kids, and talks about how they maintain a solid relationship with ex-Moynahan. Even though the Patriots haven't exactly been top dogs this season, and even though Bundchen has slowed down her career a little to take the most important role as mom, these two are the Brangelina of the sports world. Strahan is envious, but happy.

New York Jets: Mark Sanchez
Exs: Too many to count, but most recently Eva Longoria

The Story:

Oh Mark Sanchez. The quarterback of the New York Jets has had his job position tested by a certain Tim Tebow, and he's also had his relationship tested by some pretty high profile females. A pretty long list of celebrities like Hilary Rhoda, Kate Upton, Hayden Panettiere, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler have graced the ex-list of Sanchez's, but the latest celebrity? Eva Longoria. Am I surprised? Definitely. The actress confirmed they were dating just last month, but have recently just broken up. What is with this dating streak Sanchez? Here's hoping the next girl is the keeper. Until then, McKayla is unimpressed with Sanchez's dating record. How many high-profile women can one quarterback possibly date?

Tennessee Titans: Matt Hasselbeck
Sister-In-Law: Elisabeth Hasselbeck

The Story:

It's funny how people think The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck is married to Tennessee Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. She's not, but she is his sister-in-law, as she is married to Matt's brother Tim, a former NFL quarterback. It seems fame runs in this Hasselbeck household! Even though Elisabeth has her fans and her "haters" at least his sister-in-law hasn't overshadowed Hasselbeck in the NFL, as the 37-year-old is holding his own. Who knows, in 10 years, there might be two more Hasselbecks playing football, and another hosting a TV show. Strahan cautiously smiles at this.
